The idea of ET4Care
With “E-Training for Care” we want to reach medical specialists and train them in wound management with qualified specialists and then accompany them in practical application. And in Gotse Delchev we are starting it as a pilot project.
If the pilot project runs successfully and “works”, we want to offer it for other places and countries in other languages. Because in principle it no longer matters where the training is “accessed”, in which language, with which cultural background and not what topic it is about.
Because we are convinced that in a networked world, everyone should not only have the right to the best possible medical care, but also the opportunity to make use of it.
The topics
wound care
- Anatomy and physiology of the skin
- Formation of wounds, types of wounds
- Pain generation and perception
- decubitus
- Ulcus cruris venosum, PAD, Ulcus cruris arteriosum, lymphoedema, body image disorders, compression therapy
- DFS – Diabetic Foot Syndrome
- hygiene
- infection management
- case management
- Education – Communication
- nutrition
- Wound cleaning / wound irrigation
- expert standards
- Contemporary wound care and material
- Wound assessment and wound documentation
See a short preview in Bulgarian language:
In December 2022, we initially launched a pilot project in Gotse Delchev, Bulgaria. This was followed at the beginning of January by another pilot project in Pazardschik, Bulgaria. Both projects are currently still running with a total of over 60 participants. Further projects are planned – as soon as the pilot phase is completed and evaluated. If you are interested in running this course in your institution, please contact us:
