The Educational Concept of ET4Care
With “E-Training for Care”, we aim to reach healthcare professionals and train them in wound management through qualified experts, followed by guidance in practical application.
Our digital training program is primarily designed for medical professionals who wish to expand their expertise in the field of wound management.
The program includes approximately 35 hours of video content covering 15 different subject areas. It offers a comprehensive introduction to the anatomy and physiology of the skin, various types of wounds and their causes, as well as the principles of wound healing. Topics such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, hygiene practices in wound care, infection management, and the role of nutrition in wound healing are all addressed.
In addition, the program covers modern approaches in wound management, including up-to-date treatment methods and materials, as well as the importance of accurate wound assessment and documentation.
We believe that in a connected world, every person should not only have the right to the best possible medical care, but also the opportunity to access it.

The training is divided into two sections, each concluding with an examination.
After completing the first section, participants take an interim multiple-choice exam to review and deepen their acquired knowledge. At the end of the second section, a final examination evaluates the participants’ skills and knowledge in the field of wound management.
Upon successful completion of the final exam, participants have the opportunity to obtain a certificate that confirms their competence and successful participation in the training. This certificate serves as proof that the course was completed and passed in accordance with the established standards.
The training can be completed from anywhere in Ukraine using a computer or smartphone, at any time. Participants receive access codes from their local team leader to log in. Technical support is available to team leaders throughout the course, including hosting and delivery costs for the Moodle platform, as well as system maintenance for a period of two years.
The training should be completed within three months. In addition to the highly practical and visually engaging online course, the application of the acquired knowledge in practice is also an essential part of the training. For this reason, it is important that healthcare professionals participate as a full team on-site, enabling mutual support in daily practice.
Another important element of the training is telemedical support during and after the course.
Regular supervision sessions via video call with experts from our network accompany the practical application, provide answers to questions, and help ensure that knowledge gained is successfully translated into patient care on-site.
